CapaInstaller Review and Update
CapaInstaller Review and Update is a service. The service is meant for customers who already use CapaInstaller. The service combine a technical review with hands-on training, best practice and adjustments, ensuring you get the best out of CapaInstaller.
The target group for this service is customers and partners who are already users of CapaInstaller.
Identify the improvements
CapaInstaller Review and Update Service identify improvements which will raise the service level and thereby the value of CapaInstaller by the customer. It is intended to update as well as introduce areas for improvement in the current installation of CapaInstaller.
- The current installation gets a service check
- CapaInstaller is updated to the latest Service Update
- Issues with packages are identified and error handling initiated
- Support incidents will be reviewed if required
- Possibilities for improvements using SDK can be discussed
- New features in the latest service update will be covered
- Information about networking with CapaSystems
Delivery
When the CapaInstaller Review and Update day has ended the workshop participants will have gained knowledge about the CapaInstaller solution, which makes it possible for them to move forward and get much more value from their installation. The service delivery content:
- CapaInstaller Solution patched up to date
- Understanding of SDK and the possibilities it brings
- Applications groups, metering, patch management has been updated
- Documentation is up to date
- All challenges have been reviewed and actions have been taken to improve these
- The need for other modules or products from CapaSystems has been identified
- Next step can be planed
Preparations
The following must be prepared before the meeting:
- Access to CapaInstaller Console with admin rights
- Reporting Services must be activated
- User Inventory must be activated
- List of challenges must be identified and available
Method
The day will be a combination of dialog and system walk through. It is a requirement that the system manager participate in the workshop
Duration
The service is estimated to last one day on-site
