This course is designed to provide attendees with the in-depth knowledge required to use Licence Dashboard and Data Cleanse. The course is targeted to end users of Data Cleanse. It does not cover the technical elements of installation or configuration. The course is taught in English

Course description

General awareness of software licensing will be beneficial but not essential. Furthermore, general awareness of software components would be beneficial but not essential.

COURSE OBJECTIVES DAY 1

At the end of the course, you will understand the functionality of Licence Dashboard and be able to:

  • Understand the basic characteristics of software licences
  • Administrate Users & Dictionaries
  • Maintain and update the Licence & Contract Inventory
  • Aggregate your licence entitlement using the Licence Register
  • Import Software usage and allocate associated entitlement
  • Manage your software compliance status
  • Report all Licence entitlement and compliance

COURSE OBJECTIVES DAY 2

At the end of the course, you will understand the functionality of Audit Cleanse and be able to:

  • Manage and maintain Manufacturer & Product Dictionaries
  • Understand and maintain Product Elements
  • Create and maintain Audit Runs
  • Update recognition by using Match Products
  • Understand the Matching function
  • Add New Products & increase recognition percentage
  • Add & edit Primary & Secondary Elements
  • Review & analyse the recognition results
  • Create and load Application Suites, Business Units & Custom Rules
  • Understand the function of the Combine Editor
  • Understand the utilities Export options
  • Compare Audit Runs
  • Utilise the Reports to assist in the cleansing process

Daily length

A course day lasts from 09:00 - 16:30, unless otherwise stated. There will be breakfast from 8.30 - 9.00 and lunch at approximately 12.00.

If 3 or less enrolments are made 14 days before a course start, CapaSystems reserves the right to cancel this course or change the course date. This also applies to force majeure.
