Course Description
The course is designed for the technical staff with responsibility for the company Client Management. During the course, the various installers will be reviewed and especially the MSI installer will be thoroughly examined.
With a basic knowledge of how to create packages we will work with CapaInstaller Package Creator - an extremely powerful tool for fast and secure package distribution. Students will be guided through series of exercises and assignments that show how to quickly create packages and make use of the hundreds of predefined and thoroughly tested features offered by CapaInstaller Package Creator. There will also be a focus on troubleshooting and investigating the log files created when a package is made using exactly this tool.
This is a hands-on course where the student through exercises and assignments are guided through different everyday scenarios and thereby will learn to apply the right tools. Besides CapaInstaller Package Creator the following tools will be reviewed: Orca, Installtailor, Processmonitor, ProcessExplorer and ezMSI.
It is an advantage to have been on the CMS Foundation to participate in this course. The course is in Danish with English course materials.

Daily length
A course day lasts from 09:00 to 16:30, unless otherwise indicated. There will be morning coffee and bread at 8:30 to 9:00 and lunch around 12:00 pm.
CapaSystems reserves the right to alter course dates and cancel courses if three or fewer people have signed up later than fourteen days before course start, and in force majeure situations.
